Blog it Your Way

I see another friend has joined the dark side recently.

Take a look at Chrissy's creation. It's packed full of carbs, grease, salads, and sporks! But watch out that you don't let your children see the insides of Ronald McGoodbody! It's a fantastic funfilled fast food feast!!

update on the weekend. Dad and I missed getting a paycheck by half a pound. We needed one more fish. We had 4 fish, 12.96 lbs. 2 bass over 4.5lbs! Unfortunately we ran out of time. Lately, i've only been able to make it home about once a month, IF that. Hopefully I'll have some more free time ths summer.

Now What?

Is there life after Star Wars? A good friend of mine was nice enough to allow me to get an early viewing of Episode 3 last night. I can't believe the end is finally here. Well, the end before the beginning I guess. I can remember when George Lucas first announced his plans to come out with the 3 prequels to the original Star Wars trilogy. The timeline he scheduled seemed to be impossible to wait for. But as I sat down in my seat last night I realized this was the last one. After 28 years of wondering how it all began the last story was about to be made known. I remember, after watching Return of the Jedi, that there would be no more Star Wars movies. But life went on then too. It's too bad Star Wars can't go on as often as james Bond movies do. So what do we look forward to now?

There's some kids out there now, old enough to watch the episodes 1-3 and never know what it was like to watch the first ones on the big screen. Back then we didn't have all the computer digital blah blah blah to tell the story....just good old muppets, makeup, and stop motion photography. But I have to say, and I am probably in the minority with this opinion, that contrary to a lot of true star wars fans my age, I really enjoy all the new digital effects. Ehh...most of them. A digital Yoda looks fairly convincing, but you have to allow some imagination to keep yourself in the film.

Overall, I was very pleased with the movie and would definitely go back again.

But now what? What's there to look forward to? There's a new Superman movie coming out and a new Willie Wonka...but I think this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367882/" title="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367882/" target="_blank"http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0... will possibly be my next most anticipated event.....a "new hope"!!

My dad and I are going to fish in another bass tournament this weekend. We haven't done too well in tournaments the last 2 years. I wish I could get back home more often to keep up with the bass' patterns. KY lake can be a fickle place if you don't keep up with the constant changes. One thing can always be said of KY lake. "the only thing that can be predictable is that the bass will always be unpredictable."

I came across this site this morning. I wonder if the Wyld Stallyns will provide the musical entertainment?

Moo Moo-Fizz-Fizz.....

".....Oh what an idea it was!" ---sorry to Tony and Greg but I thought it was time to share our lost dream with the world----

I guess it was about a year ago...probably longer that some friends and I, inbetween a red hot game of Taboo and an epic game of Balderdash, conceived the idea that would change the world and perhaps even the moon. It all started with a question. "I wonder what carbonated milk would taste like?" I wasn't even sure it was possible. Where would we market such a thing? The answer.....schools! Kids would drink carbonated milk! Then Greg and Tony brought up the idea that perhaps if the milk was cereal flavored it would sell better.
Fruity Pebbles, Sugar Smacks, Coco Puffs, Frosted Flakes, etc whichever Kellogg's or Post would give us rights to.....leftover cereal milk always tastes better than regular milk! If we could just give it a kick with some effervescence we'd be millionaires!

But we would need some kind of personality to go on the bottle....a mascot. Floatyman!! Tony's alter ego floatyman (and website thereof now retired and living somewhere in Boca Raton, Florida in some floating assisted living community). Floatyman was always carefree. His purpose in life was simple...."he floats". Like bubbles in a bottle he floats..... [image]riverrat338_681364 887.jpg[/image]

But Tony, speaking for Floatyman, said Floatyman would never sell out to corporate greed. It represented all he was not. So, without our mascot we were lost. And no longer than a sprite can go flat our dreams burst like the caramel colored bubbles of a freshly poured glass of RC Cola on ice. Just as well though because the next day I did some google research and found out that someone had beat us to it. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin...

Last night a friend mentioned that drinking to many carbonated drinks are bad for your teeth.....but it's milk!!
What you lose by the carbonation you gain with the calcium! Even Steven right?~?~

I think it's time to come up with another idea....who's up for a rugged round of Taboo!!?
