Set another plate at the dinner table. I have another friend who's been bitten by the blog bug. "Topaz Butterfly", pull up a chair and dig in; no ceremony here, make yourself at home. Elbows on the table is encouraged.

Next time you're bringing some chicken enchilladas for everyone!

Everyone, check out her site! It's on blogspot, so it's probably much more reliable than tblog!!

I have a new pet. Well, not that I've had a pet of my own in many years. It's a young gecko. Sex undetermined. A coworker found it resting in a cardboard box on her desk last week. Quite a mystery for me since geckos are not native to TN. I'll have to make some arrangements for larger living quarters for it this week. Any ideas for a name?

Thanks for the introduction Matt. As for the gecko's name, I agree with Jen.

If it is a male...it shall be named "Bill"

As in Bill the Lizard...from Alice in Wonderland./..the lizzard with the ladder.

I cannot open Topaz Butterfly's link for some reason. You have to name the Gecko "Geico"

Hi, we have geckos here, in central Queensland, Australia, whether we want to or not. I have two whoppers (= big geckos) in my food cupboard. They were fighting in my onion bowl a couple of days back! It's awful when they get squashed in doors & windows. :-(
